The Matt Haley Trust’s mission is to further Matt’s legacy and keep his powerful voice relevant and effective.
Matt was a force of good locally and globally, and the trust seeks to continue positive change by supporting the people and truths Matt fought for throughout his life.
The Matt Haley Trust supports innovative organizations that focus on:
- children
- immigrants
- the formerly incarcerated
- job training
- food
By focusing on Delaware and international organizations, the Trust shares knowledge and solutions across borders — and takes an unfiltered look at who we are as a society.
The Trust pushes the boundaries of what is possible by funding edgy and forward-looking programs. We don’t necessarily seek to reinvent the wheel, but we want to embrace positive disruption.

Mission: To provide young women in Nepal with the skills, support and opportunities to become leaders and change-makers in their schools, communities, nation and world.
Apply for a grant
We accept applications for grant funding annually on an invitation-only basis after your organization answers a brief questionnaire. If your organization wants to apply, please answer the questions below. (Note: The Trust does not fund events, galas or individual scholarships.)
