Mission: To eliminate the preventable deaths in developing and newly industrialized countries that are caused by cooking with a three stone open fire.

The Matt Haley Trust offers support and resources to organizations that provide lifelines to those most in need. Meeting the basic human need for healthful food is an utmost goal. Too many people lack food or access to a safe cook stove.

 

• More than 114,000 Delawareans don’t have a secure source of food.
• In the United States, one in six children may not know where they will get their next meal.
• Internationally, open-fire cook stoves kill about 4.3 million people each year.

 

The Trust wants to push the boundaries of what is possible from organizations by funding edgy and forward-thinking programs. We want to hear your solutions to the problems that moved Matt to action.
