Stories of
Redemption
Every story is a testament to the resilience found within the echoes of second chances.
Chuck’s Purpose: Building Dreams in Nicaragua with Neighbors
“My real purpose in life is that I can do this.” Chuck states as he smiles. His entire face brightens at that sentence and if his own words weren’t to be enough you can read it in his eyes. Not many people have the great joy in life to be able to whole heartedly say that they have found their purpose yet Chuck proudly can.
Second Chances: La Esperanza Forges Pathways for Immigrant Communities
Redemption isn’t just about what we can do to undo our past selves and actions, sometimes its about what we can do to create a path forward. Jennifer, the executive director of La Esperanza, highlights this in the work she does. She explains that she does not see the work see does as absolving people of what they’ve done wrong but much rather about creating pathways and opportunities.
Redemption, Justice, and Faith: Yolanda’s Journey with Zoe Ministries
Yolanda is moved by her faith, interwoven into her body and brain, thus shaping the path she takes. As the founder of Zoe Ministries, an organization developed to help survivors of trafficking and better our systems to seek justice, it can be easy to believe this was always the passion for her. However her story begins at the end of her time working as a nurse.
The Love in Being
The greatest love that we can offer the world is hope. Fayetta Blake, also known as Faye to many, has plenty of love to give. As the co-founder of Pathways to Success, she has embarked in her own mission to provide hope and love to the youth and in turn blossom this future into the world.
